There are several billion people from more than 200 countries and thousands of provinces living on our magnificent blue planet who all need to eat and want to enjoy their food. Everybody has a few favorite dishes, which they often learned to love in childhood. We don't tire of this 'comfort food' but we always have a desire to taste something new or different.
Taste is one of our six senses, and brings us pleasure. Although food nourishes us and is essential to our health it is far more than that. Food can take us on a journey to distant, exotic places, and lets us connect with other people and cultures in an instinctive way, through our enjoyment of food.

Taking yourself, friends and family's taste buds on an adventure can be exciting. Trying new recipes is fun and improves many relationships. After all there is a saying that "The way to a man/woman's heart is through his/her stomach".
