I always loved mamas meatballs. They are simply delicious and taste great fresh and hot but are as well wonderful
once they have cooled down and stored in the fridge. We had them at birthday parties, picnics, as travel food while on the road to holiday destinations and many other occasions. In my fond memories of my childhood days and my grannies and mums great cooking I ll publish this recipe. The ingredients below that I mentioned as optional additions are just my personal choice of variations. The Frikadellen as we call them in Germany taste good with and without them.

Serve them hot together with homemade potato salad or french fries and green salad
