Favorite Steak Rub

  • 1 Tbsp. sea salt or himalayan salt
  • 1.5 tsp. onion powder
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp. origanum
  • 1/2 tsp. marjoram
  • 1/2 tsp. thyme
  • 1 tsp. dried parsley
  • 1/2 tsp crushed cayenne chillis
  • 1/4 tsp. plain paprika powder
  • 1/2 tsp. crushed cumin seeds
  • 1/4 tsp. crushed allspice


  • Place all ingredients into a jar, close the lid and shake for a minute or two to mix all together.
  • Use as much of the spice mix as you like and keep the rest in the jar with the lid closed. Keep in a cool and dry place.
