Sweet and Spicy carrot salad

This spicy carrot salad is combined with tomatoes and an easy Indian style dressing that makes it an ideal accompaniment to many Indian curries, aknies and biryanis.

All ingredients for this salad are fresh and raw. It is an easy and healthy addition to your diet and can be fixed in less than 20 minutes.

Ingredients for
spicy carrot salad

  • 1 ripe tomato, diced 
  • carrots grated
  • 1 clove of garlic, grated 
  • 3 tsp mint sauce
  • 1 green cayenne chili, finely diced
  • 1 tsp. sesame seeds
  • 3 tsp pineapple vinegar (white wine vinegar or apple cider vinegar)
  • 1 tsp. brown sugar


  • Dice tomato
  • Peel and grate the carrots
  • Grate the garlic
  • Chop the chili pepper really fine
  • Place all in a bowl
  • Add sesame seeds vinegar, mint sauce and sugar
  • Mix all ingredients well

Serve alongside curries or other savory dishes.
